The Art Deco Society of California will be holding our annual How to Gatsby event
followed by our Member Mixer on Sunday August 2nd, 2026!
Both events will be at the California Historical Radio Society located in Alameda.

How to Gatsby is from 3pm-5pm and will feature lectures on what to bring and ideas for dressing for the Gatsby Picnic on which is on September 13th. Be sure to catch the fashion show to see Gatsby Picnic outfits in person! There will also be vendors selling Art Deco merchandise for building a perfect outfit and finding accessories for your picnic! If you're a newcomer who's never attended the Gatsby Picnic or a long time picnicker, you'll be sure to have a good time learning about this year's picnic and perusing our vendors for that perfect Gatsby outfit and accessories!

The ADSC Member Mixer will begin shortly after and go until 8pm. This event will feature live music, a no-host cocktail bar, and an assortment of finger food. The Member Mixer is for our members and "Deco Curious" non-members who want to learn more about the ADSC. We'll be presenting awards to our most dedicated volunteers while you mingle, eat, drink, and dance!

Tickets for both events can be purchased separately, or if you'd like to attend both you can purchase discounted "Double Header" tickets. Members receive a discount, so if you are not a member or need to renew, click the link below.
